The first split of the EVA Bucharest League — Romania’s home for competitive EVA VR esports — has officially wrapped. Three rounds, four divisions, and a full season of round-robin play across 16 teams and 78 players (after roster aliasing), all building toward the international EVA Regional Tournaments in June. Five teams did not continue past Round 2 — Asgard, Ăia4, MiG, Pizza Hotline, and Academia de Fortnite — leaving 11 teams to play out Round 3 and feed into the Split 2 lineup.

Why Split 1 Mattered

The Bucharest League isn’t just a local series anymore. As of this season, it slots directly into EVA’s international esports ecosystem:

  • The top team from each city qualifies for the EVA Regional Tournaments in Paris (June 2026).
  • The top 3 finishers at the regional then advance to the European competition in September.
  • Split 2 winners (October Regional) route into the Last Chance Qualifier on November 29, 2026, with two spots opening into the EVA Summit.

Every LP earned across Split 1 contributed to that international ranking — which is what makes the perfect-record division champions stand out.

GHTxASAS1NSS finished as the K/D leader of the entire league at 2.20 (178/81/29 across 20 maps). His 8/0/0 perfect game on Artefact against POG in Round 3 — a no-deaths sweep — is one of the standout individual performances of Split 1.

8BIT in Division 1: Three Rounds, Three Top-3 Finishes

8BIT was one of only three teams to play every round of Split 1 in Division 1 — finishing 3rd in all three. The standout moments:

  • Round 1: Beat Adam 2-0 to lock the relegation door early.
  • Round 2: Took OneShot 2-1 with 8BITxCrCosmin dropping 11 kills on Engine and 14 on Cliff, and produced the round’s tightest map — Cliff against POG, 100-99 for 8BIT — before POG closed the series on Silva.
  • Round 3: The statement win. 8BIT beat POG 2-0 (Cliff 100-54, Engine 100-98) — the first time 8BIT took down a top-2 team in Split 1. 8BITxCrCosmin put up 11/5/4 then 13/9/2 on those two maps.

The job for Split 2 is clear: turn one of those 1-2 round records into 2-1, and break into 2nd place.
