EVA Pro League Round 2 delivered four best-of-three series across one match night. Three clean sweeps, one decider that went the distance, and a series MVP performance from a player who only needed two maps. Here’s the breakdown.
OG Esports hold serve, Heretics smash GiantX, G2 march on, and Vitality break their duck. Round 1’s bottom four are starting to thin out.
Round Highlights
Match Breakdowns
1. OG Esports 2 – 1 Solary
The only series of the round that went the distance. Vexaa carried OG with a 34-kill BO3 while Wire put up Solary’s lone bright spot on Polaris. For the full per-map narrative, key moments and series MVP breakdown, see the full match recap.
| Map | Score | Top fragger |
|---|---|---|
| Cliff | OG 100% – 36% SLY | Junior (10 K) |
| Polaris | OG 98% – 100% SLY | Vexaa (17 K) — losing side |
| Atlantis | OG 100% – 56% SLY | Vexaa (11 K) |
Notable: Vexaa topped the OG kill chart on two of three maps including a 17-frag explosion on Polaris that wasn’t enough to take the map. Azula stayed consistent for Solary across all three. Junior set the tempo on Cliff with an opening double off the spawn that broke the back of Solary’s setup.
2. GiantX 0 – 2 Team Heretics
The cleanest sweep of the night. S3XYCHicken’s 10-kill / 2-death Engine set the tone — Heretics never trailed in a meaningful way across either map. GiantX held GS3XYCHicken to 4 kills on Cliff but it didn’t matter: Maik and Endless picked up the slack and the score line tells the story (24%-100%).
| Map | Score | Top fragger |
|---|---|---|
| Engine | GX 86% – 100% TH | S3XYCHicken (10 K) |
| Cliff | GX 24% – 100% TH | Maik (9 K) |
Heretics looked like a different team from the one that got 2-0’d by OG in Round 1 — much tighter rotations, much sharper opening duels.
3. G2 Esports 2 – 0 Shifters
A heavyweight clash that turned out to be the most surprising scoreline of the night. G2 lost the kill battle on Horizon (S9 dropped 15) but still took the map 100-68 by winning every single rotation that mattered. Then Karim went off on Helios with 8 kills and an 8/4/1 line that closed the series.
| Map | Score | Top fragger |
|---|---|---|
| Horizon | G2 100% – 68% SHFT | S9 (15 K) — losing side |
| Helios | G2 100% – 65% SHFT | Karim & Bakki tied (8 K) |
The Horizon stat line is the bigger story: Skyzer (14 K) and Midnight (13 K) backed up by Karim and Dimzy gave G2 four players in double digits. Shifters had S9 alone — 15 kills that translated to nothing because Mattdouuu, Bakki and Tirrnag combined for 23 deaths.
4. SK Gaming 0 – 2 Team Vitality
The other one-sided sweep — and the one that won Zaybux Round MVP. Vitality reached 100% on Cliff while holding SK to 10%, then immediately followed up with 100% – 9% on Atlantis. Two maps, two demolitions.
| Map | Score | Top fragger |
|---|---|---|
| Cliff | SK 10% – 100% VIT | Hyyperio (8 K) |
| Atlantis | SK 9% – 100% VIT | Gombertois (8 K) |
SK Gaming looked nothing like the team that beat GiantX in Round 1. Florian (Round 1’s Top Fragger) finished with 2 total kills across both maps. When your last-round MVP goes from 20-frag Horizon to a 0/5/2 line on Cliff, it’s not a coaching problem — it’s a Vitality problem.
After Round 2

OG and G2 are now 2-0 series-record through two rounds — the only two undefeated teams in the league. Heretics and Vitality both bounced back from Round 1 0-2 sweeps with sweeps of their own. Solary and GiantX are 0-2 — that’s a hole that’s hard to climb out of in an 8-team league.
Vexaa is putting up MVP-of-the-season numbers (34 kills in a single BO3 is absurd) but Zaybux’s surgical 4.25 rating earned the round nod — no one else combined kill efficiency with that few deaths.
